Biography

PRO CAREER:

  • Originally selected by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft (250th overall) out of Northwestern, Siemian brings starting experience to the Bears quarterback room
  • He joins the Bears in 2022 from the New Orleans Saints
  • The Windermere, Fla., native has posted career numbers of 6,843 yards passing, 41 touchdowns and 24 interceptions, while completing 58.9% of his passes for a 81.2 rating in 33 career games (29 starts)
  • He also has 203 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to his credit
  • Siemian has recorded four 300-yard passing games in his career

2021 SEASON (Saints):

  • Played in six games and started in four as a backup quarterback in 2021
  • Finished the season with an 88.4 rating
  • Completed 108-of-188 passes for 1,154 yards and 11 touchdowns across six contests
  • Completed 25-of-41 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns in his first start since 2019 vs. the Falcons
