Biography

PRO CAREER:

Selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft (163rd overall) by the Bears; played in all 16 games of his rookie season with one start

2022 SEASON (Bears):

Made the start in the season opener vs. San Francisco, finishing with five tackles (all solo)
Started at cornerback and logged one combined tackle in Week 2 vs. Green Bay
Recorded five tackles (three solo), one tackle-for-loss and two passes defensed against Houston in Week 3
His first deflected pass, with 51 seconds remaining in the first quarter, fell right into the hands of safety Eddie Jackson to stifle a goal-to-go opportunity for the Texans and give Chicago its first turnover of the afternoon
In Week 4 at New York, started at defensive back and recorded four combined tackles (two solo)
Recorded the first turnover of the game against the Vikings in Week 5, picking off Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins with 12:54 to go in the fourth quarter; it was the first interception of his career
Also added six combined tackles (three solo) and one pass defensed in addition to the interception
Logged a PD for the fourth time in his last four games against the Commanders in Week 6 while also recording two solo tackles
Started and logged a tackle in the Bears' 33-14 Monday night victory over the Patriots in Week 7
Had five combined tackles (four solo) against Dallas in Week 8
Saw snaps on defense in Week 9 vs. Miami but was ruled out of the game due to injury
